What is GFC?

GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate) is prepared from a small sample of your blood using specialised tubes that isolate and activate platelet-derived growth factors (PDGFs, TGF-β, VEGF, IGF, etc.). The end product is an ultra-purified, leukocyte-poor concentrate—injected into the scalp or skin to signal repair, improve blood supply, and stimulate collagen.

Think of GFC as a refined cousin of PRP: fewer red/white cells, more bioactive growth factors per ml.

Best For

  • Hair: Early–moderate pattern hair loss (men & women), postpartum thinning, stress-related shedding; density support after hair transplant
  • Skin: Under-eye crepe/texture, acne scars, fine lines, dullness, enlarged pores; neck/décolletage quality

Frequently Asked Questions

Both are autologous growth-factor therapies. GFC is a more purified, growth-factor-rich preparation; the “better” option depends on your case and goals.

Expect shedding control by 4–8 weeks and visible thickening by 3–6 months, provided you complete the recommended course.

Discomfort is brief and tolerable. We use fine needles and, when needed, numbing for facial areas.

GFC works best where follicles are still alive (thinning zones). Long-standing bald areas often need transplant options.

With maintenance sessions and supportive home care, benefits typically persist 6–12+ months; ongoing upkeep is key for patterned hair loss.
